From concept to finish, we worked with the owners of this original Edwardian property to create an extension that felt fresh and modern but remained sympathetic to the original structure. Using the same brickwork and colour accents to work with the house, this is a great example of how an older property can be extended in a modern fashion. The bi-fold doors meant that the extension space flowed into the garden creating more room for this growing family and brought the outdoors in.
Working closely with the owners, we consulted them every step of the way - even returning 2 months after to put the skirting boards down once they had chosen their flooring.
One of the biggest and most transformative jobs ever taken on by DSCL, this large extension to a 1930's detached property sitting on 4 acres of land is something we are very proud of. It required careful management and care to create exactly what the client envisaged. Complimenting the original house and beautiful gardens, we worked to create a stunning extension overlooking the pool and grounds.
